Amy Schumer is Still Upset About her High School Volleyball Uniform - Mashable (7/5/15)

What was Amy Schumer like in high school? Was she really the ditzy, wanna-be prom queen who sneaks out to the parking lot to drink that she portrays in her sketches? CBS Sunday Morning's Mo Rocca accompanied her on a tour of South Side High School in Rockville Centre, New York, the school she graduated from in 1999, to find out. And according to the teachers and former classmate Rocca spoke to, Schumer was unsurprisingly persistent, but not quite the foul-mouthed everywoman we've come to love — not in class, anyway. Purdue Alumni Lead Two Fortune 500 Companies - JConline (7/4/15)

This year’s Fortune 500 list of top U.S. companies, released June 4, includes two companies led by Purdue University alumni. Purdue is among a dozen U.S. universities — including Harvard, Princeton and Yale — with two or more graduates who went on to become CEOs of a top 100 company in this year’s list, according to U.S. News and World Report. A San Francisco High School Will Be First to Offer LGBT Studies Course - Seventeen (7/5/15)

Twenty-eight percent of the school's student body identifies as LGBT or questioning.
A high school in San Francisco may be the first in the nation to offer an LGBT studies course. The class at Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts will begin this fall and cover LGBT history and literature, terminology, and media portrayals, with a specific focus on the San Francisco LGBT community. Gene Mutation Didn't Slow Down High School Senior - LA Times (7/5/15)

She was elected La Jolla High's homecoming queen, worked as features page editor of the school newspaper and published a novel with a friend — her second, featuring an alter ego character navigating friendships during senior year.
