Frontier High School principal’s award adds to Whittier school’s accolades - Whittier Daily News (7/1/15)

It wasn’t enough for Frontier High School to be named a model continuation high school earlier this year, but now its principal has been put in the spotlight. Margie Moriarty was named Administrator of the Year by the California Continuation Education Association (CCEA), a state organization that recognizes quality alternative education programs and excellent administrators who cultivate a supportive environment where students can flourish. Stephens named new principal of Lufkin High School - Lufkin Daily News (7/1/15)

Lufkin ISD Superintendent Dr. LaTonya Goffney has named Mr. Kurt Stephens as the next Lufkin High School principal. The District announced last month that Mr. Mark Smith is retiring after 10 years of service as the Lufkin High School principal. Mr. Stephens, a Lufkin High School alum, has served the past 15 years in various capacities on the LHS campus from coach to teacher and counselor to his current position as the associate principal.
